The Hand has embarked on a new chapter in SWTOR raiding... Explosive Conflict. To learn the raid in a natural progression, we're tackling EC on Normal... er, Story mode first, in 16 man of course. The raid has been a challenge, with the first two bosses taking some degree of learning and adjustment. The fights are fun, much more logical and engaging than EV or HH, and each kill is rewarding.
This is a kill screen for the second boss, the twin tanks Firebrand and Stormcaller. It was an intense fight, but we got it down, and we're ready to challenge it again on Hard mode.
All in all, EC obviously seems to take the best of EV and HH, and rid itself of what was unfun, or just didn't work. We're looking forward to the final two bosses, and moving on to Hard mode.
(Also, if you take the time to count the people on that screen, yes we killed the bosses with 15 people.)
Of all the endgame accolades, the Unyielding title is probably the most difficult thing to achieve. It requires clearing nightmare Hutt Hospitality in two hours or less. And while the fights in HH are less susceptible to randomness like Soa is in EV, overall, the encounters are more challenging (especially on 16 man).
With this is mind, we congratulate the progression raid on yet another server first, with an Unyielding run completed in just around 90 minutes. This accomplishment gives us a full clear of all operation achievements with 1.2 on the horizon. Now, all we have is to finish gearing up, help others get their titles, and stay sharp.
Yet another kill shot to spam our front page with...
With that kill today, we're 5/5 in nightmare 16 Hutt Hospitality, to go along with our 5/5 nightmare Eternity Vault 16 clear earlier this week. If you're counting at home, this means your favourite guild has cleared the most difficult raid content in the most difficult operation size. All that remains now is to collect our Unyielding title from HH, completely gear up, and start helping alts and green raiders to see some of this interesting content.
Another goal we have is to take to the test server and get a look at the new raid and loot there. If you want more information on that, check this post here.
A big congratulations to all our hard working raiders, be it our core raiders, or the alternates who have stepped in to keep us going. An excellent showing for the first tier of SWTOR content, and a mind blowing accomplishment for an RP server.
